SALES DEPARTMENT MANAGER PURPOSE: To achieve Sales Division`s Business Objectives and Key Performance Indicators by successfully recruiting, managing, and developing teams of HP Sales Advisors in line with FSA & Best Practice. KEY RESULT AREAS •To maintain a territory business plan to achieve the Key Performance Indicators and Key Competency Measurements. •To achieve short and long-term Business Objectives by establishing and maintaining an effective sales team succession plan. •To regularly review sales staff targets to successfully achieve the Business Objectives and Key Performance Indicators. •To identify development needs and facilitate both formal and on-the-job training and coaching to increase the competencies and skills of the sales advisors in line with FSA & Best Practice model. •To ensure effective Dealer relationships are developed and maintained in line with Best Practice to achieve the Business Objectives. •To be fully conversant with Welcome`s HP products, underwriting criteria, policy and procedures at all times. •To establish and maintain effective relationships with all key internal functions. •To embrace the ‘Working Together` Culture •To conduct monthly 121 on Sales team leaders •To conduct quarterly appraisals on Sales team leaders •To calculate quarterly bonus plan SKILLS + EXPERIENCE •Track record of successful recruitment training and developing a team to achieve sales targets •Proven record of managing sales teams •Excellent communication skills at all levels •Excellent Influencing skills at all levels •Experience in a customer focused environment •FSA Advanced Level
